Nyi Loro Kidul. The story is retold from time to time. It is also known as floklore. Talking the story about Nyi Loro Kidul people usually comes arguing whether it was a myth, legend or a fact. Well, Everyone can makes up his/her mind certaintly depend on the knowledge he/ she has got respectively to answer the topic.

Nyi Loro Kidul is any creature, a being, a spirit that existed created by God Almighty. Javanese and Indonesian wholly know her in the myth and folklore and some stories retold by older people from time to time. People called her with the names such as Nyi Roro Kidul, Bunda Ratu Kidul, Ratu Laut Selatan. According to the folklore or the story within people of Java Nyi loro kidul is the decendant of Pajajaran’s King Prabu Siliwangi i.e. Nyi Mundingsari who chose to life outside the royal palace and began promenade eastern till Parangtritis beach of Yogyakarta. Later on people continue to elaborate the story that she was going to live in the invisible palace inside the water of south sea, namely Indian ocean off Parangtritis beach. Nowadays however people knows she is a figure of a very kind woman and also such glorious chaste woman.
